Sunlit Studios Africa is a voice and audio studio telling the continent's stories in their own light — from brand films to audiobooks to the conversations that shape policy.

The Studio
We believe a story changes when it's told by the people who lived it. From a sunlit room in Nairobi, we record, produce and shape audio that carries the weight, warmth and humour of the continent — never flattened, never translated into someone else's accent.
Founded in 2026, Sunlit works with brands, publishers, broadcasters and institutions who want their message to actually be heard. One studio, a deep bench of narrators, and three clear lines of work.
How we work
Before a word is recorded we sit with you and, where it matters, with the communities your story belongs to. The brief is shaped by the people it affects.
The right voice in the right language, with the right lived experience. Our roster spans regions, generations and registers — from warm and intimate to broadcast-bold.
Direction, recording, edit, mix and mastering under one roof. You leave with delivery-ready audio and the masters — for air, for stream, for the record.
Our Work · Three Rooms
Every project lives in one of three rooms — each with its own voice, craft and sibling mark.
Room 01 · Commercials
Brand films, radio & broadcast. Voices that sell without losing their soul.
Room 02 · Audiobooks
Long-form narration done with patience and love — voices that honour the page.
Room 03 · Policy & Development
Audio for the work that shapes lives — grounded in the communities it serves.
They didn't just record us — they let us sound like ourselves.
